5804	Ved siden av Bonzo drev Emma (Ingeborg Birgitte) Gustavsen Fagerheim Cafe, populært kalt "Imma", inntil slutten av 50-tallet. Familien bodde i andre etasje. Her ble det servert middag, kaffe, smørbrød og kaker. Kafeen var svært populær blant middelskoleelever og gymnasiaster som bodde på hybel i byen om vinteren. Her kunne de få seg en god, billig, hjemmelaga middag. Fagerheim Cafe hadde et nydelig servise. Det var hvit porselen med inskripsjonen "Fagerheim Cafe" på alle tallerknene og koppene i lyseblå skrift. Her hadde skoleungdommen "politiske møter" i 50-åra. Vi diskuterte alt fra atombomba til den kalde krigen. Det var mange "verdensproblemer" som ble løst på Fagerheim Cafe. Hadde verden sett ut som vi bestemte den skulle se ut på "Imma" i 1950-åra, ja så hadde det vært fred i hele verden og ingen krig noe sted og slettes ikke atombomber! Men slik ble det ikke. 5815	VIRGINIA BEACH - With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of our beautiful son, brother, uncle, and husband, Michael Patrick Iannetta. On July 07, 2017 God welcomed Michael into heaven to join his family before him. Michael was born April 25, 1978, in Newport News, Virginia, the youngest child of CDR. John and Patricia Iannetta. Michael was active in scouting and proudly attained the Order of the Arrow and Eagle Scout. At an early age, Michael was introduced to the importance and rewards of caring for and about the elderly and disabled and spent many hours volunteering at a long term care facility. Michael graduated from Denbigh High School. After graduation, Michael attended Arizona State University and Virginia Tech. Michael worked in the field of securities and investments as a Financial Analyst and a Mortgage Loan Consultant licensed in twelve states. Michael married Genie on September 10, 2005. From the very beginning, they shared a very special love and connection for one another. They also shared a love of their four legged furry "babies." One of his God given gifts was his ability for making you feel like you knew each other for years. He never knew a stranger. Michael is survived by his wife Genia Raynor Iannetta, of Virginia Beach, his parents John and Patricia Iannetta of Suffolk, his sister Genine Pettitt of Yorktown, and his brother John Iannetta, Jr. of Scottsdale, AZ. "Uncle Boogie's" nephews and nieces Gavin Wallace, Jackson and Hudson Pettitt of Yorktown, Isabella and John Iannetta III of Scottsdale, AZ. Madison Raynor and James Raynor IV of Virginia Beach. His very special Aunt Barbara and Uncle Charles of NJ, as well as a host of loving cousins. Though it is with profound grief we mourn his sudden tragic passing, we who loved him best, will never lose sight of his engaging smile, his silly happy sense of humor, and his true affection for those most important to him, his family. 5816	VIRGINIA GUSTAVSEN-KEEN OBITUARY GUSTAVSEN-KEEN, Virginia Beverley Passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 in her 64th year. Dearly loved wife of David Keen and the late Per-Kristian Gustavsen. Much loved mother of Jan-Eric Gustavsen and his wife Yumi and Kari-Anne Bell and her husband Michael. Fondly remembered by Jeannette Saunders and her husband Grant and Jacqueline Rover and her husband Alan. Loved Grandma of Ryan-Kristian and Jessica. 5818	Vivian Mae Sunsdahl, 64, long-time resident of Biwabik, and more recently of Mountain Iron, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. She was born May 23, 1949, on the family farm near Grygla, Minn., the daughter of Chester and Ovedia (Anderson) Stratton. Vivian was united in marriage to Floyd Sunsdahl on July 26, 1969, in Grygla. They moved to Biwabik, where they resided for 31 years. After Floyd died, she moved in with her daughter LuAnn. She enjoyed working and volunteering at the Mesabi Humane Society for many years, retiring on Nov. 30, 2009. Twelve hours later, she started her new job at the Mesaba Animal Hospital in Hibbing. She loved her family, friends, animals and her work. She will be terribly missed and forever in our hearts. She is survived by her mother, Ovedia Stratton of Grygla, Minn.; son, David (Sheila) Sunsdahl of Eveleth; daughter, LuAnn Sunsdahl of Mountain Iron; grandchildren, Alicia, Joshua, and Nicole "Punky" Sunsdahl; stepgrandchildren, Erik, Joshua, and Kylee; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Gabriel; sisters, Pauline (Wally) Sistad of Grygla, and Jane Hoy of Gatzke, Minn.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and uncountable friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; father, Chester; brother, Sonny; infant sister, Betty Rose; and brother-in-law, Leo Hoy. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at the Landmark Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia with Pastor Rodney Slessor officiating. 5821	VOTH, Hilda Kristine (Tellefson) October 1, 1927 - October 15, 2013 Born in Waterhole, Alberta to Norwegian parents, Lars and Nicoline Tellefson, Hilda grew up in Fairview, Alberta. She earned her Teacher's Certificate at the University of Alberta, graduating with a Bachelor of Education from UBC in later years. She completed her teaching career at Claremont High School as Teacher-Librarian. In retirement, she enjoyed her involvement with Sons of Norway and the Cordova Bay United Church, particularly with her "Campfire Girls". Hilda was a very proud 100% Norwegian. Through her travels to Norway and research, she leaves a detailed family history as her legacy. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Saanich Peninsula Hospital for their professional and considerate care, and to the Peninsula Retirement Home staff who showed her far more than "50 shades" of kindness in the past few years. She leaves to mourn; husband, David, daughters Laureen Stratford and Pamela Schick, son-in-law Peter, grandsons Chris Spoor and Jeff Spoor and granddaughter Nadine Schick. There will be no funeral at her request. Her family will take her to her final resting place in Waterhole Cemetery in Fairview, Alberta, to be near her parents. She will be sadly missed. 5822	WAS A WELL KNOWN MERCHANT OF PLYMOUTH Peter Haase, aged 64, former well known merchant of Plymouth, died at a hospital at Rochester, Minn., yesterday afternoon, according to a dispatch received today. Death was due to ulcer of the stomach. The remains will be brought to Plymouth for burial. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the home of H. C. Hanke, Rev. L. H. Skidmore, officiating. Interment will be made in the Union cemetery. The deceased was born February 9, 1852 at Richfield, Washington County. He came to Plymouth twenty-seven years ago and established a meat market, selling the property about two years ago to Weiskopf & Larson. The survivors are a widow and one daughter, Mrs. Harriet Haase-Koehler, one grandson, John Peter Koehler, one brother, Ernst Haase, Milwaukee, and two sisters, Miss Louise Haase, Milwaukee and Mrs. Margaret Held, Menasha. 5823	William B. Moreland (August 16, 1923 - January 12, 2012) William B Moreland passed away peacefully on January 12, 2012, surrounded by his loving children and dedicated caregivers. Born on August 16, 1923, in Sparks, Nevada, to William F Moreland and Bertha M Weis, he was the older of two children. His early childhood in Nevada and later in southern California was shaped by his father's lifelong work as a locomotive maintenance foreman with the Southern Pacific Railroad. Whether understanding the workings of a steam locomotive or that of the earth's atmosphere, his passion for scientific inquiry was a guiding principle throughout his life. His sense of adventure that began with his family's railroad tradition progressed to the skies as the aviation industry was taking flight in the 1930s and 1940s. He coupled his sense of adventure with the call to duty by enlisting in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He served as a base weather forecaster and participated in weather reconnaissance missions as a member of multiple B-29 flight crews. Following an honorable discharge from military service, he acquired civilian employment as a meteorologist at Trans World Airlines (TWA). It was at TWA, where he met his future wife and life partner, Edith Schindler. They married in October 1946. Upon graduation from UCLA (bachelors and masters degrees), he began his scientific career with the US Weather Bureau in 1948. The highlight of his 13 years of service was his participation in the International Geophysical Year of 1957-1958. He was posted in Antarctica at the Little America station as the meteorologist in charge where his research focused on the ozone layer and its atmospheric effects. His findings were published in various geophysical journals. His scientific career continued in several research positions with organizations in both the private and public sectors that included the US Air Force (Scott Air Force Base, Illinois), Boeing, Inc. (Seattle, Washington), Jet Propulsion Laboratories (Pasadena, California), and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (Livermore, California). He and his family were able to return to their home of southern California in 1974, where he continued to work for independent environmental research firms that included Tetra Tech, Inc, and AeroVironment, Inc., until his retirement at age 70. In 2004, he and his wife, Edith, sold their long-time home in La Crescenta, California, and moved to Lompoc, California, to be closer to family living on the central coast. He is survived by a son, Geoffrey Moreland of Morro Bay, California; two daughters, Elaine Huggins of Lompoc, California, and Cindy Moreland of Kansas City, Missouri; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his life partner of 65 years, Edith G Moreland, and his younger sister, Dorothy Mueller of Modesto, California. 5824	William J. Miles Dies at Hospital William J. Miles, of 216 Marian Drive, Westvale, died yesterday at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital. A native of New York City, Mr. Miles lived 24 years in this area. He was a graduate of Brooklyn Preparatory High School and Fordham University, receiving a bachelor of arts degree in 1935. He was employed by Carrier Overseas Corp. 24 years, most recently as a marketing analyst. Mr. Miles was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church and a charter member of Christ the King Council 4114, Knights of Columbus. He was also past president of the Holy Name Society and Parish Council of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Isabelle Anderson Miles; a son, Dr. William J. Miles Jr. of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Isabella Catherine Miles Shaver and Miss Joan Arleen Miles, and one granddaughter. Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Monday at the John C. 5825	William Vern Anensen Sr. (Bill) passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, in his home. He was born April 1, 1954, in Elma, Washington. Bill was a lifelong resident of McCleary and graduated from Elma High School in 1972. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and retired from Washington State DOT as an electrician. Bill loved the outdoors whether it be hunting, camping or fishing. He was always quick to make a joke as he had a great sense of humor. He was a firm believer in supporting local businesses, especially the local grocery store and "watering hole." Bill enjoyed visiting with friends and family and reminiscing about the good ol' days. Bill is survived by his wife, Rooney Anensen, children Heidi (Alan) Miller of Tacoma, Washington, William Jr. (Jessica) Anensen of McCleary, Washington, Travis Anensen of Tumwater, Washington, Jeanna (Juan) Alcala of Olympia, Washington, stepsons, Michael Stickles of La Conor, Washington, Matthew Stratton of Twisp, Washington and several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Evelyn Anensen, brothers Robert and Garry Anensen and step -son Marcus Stickles. 5826	Woodbridge - Funeral services are scheduled for Friday at 1 o'clock in the Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, for Mrs. Doris Louise Leddie, 47, of 11 Reotor Street, who died Wednesday morning in the Perth Amboy General Hospital. Mrs. Leddie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was born in Perth Amboy. She graduated from Perth Amboy High in 1939 and was an affiliate of the Violet Rebekah Lodge 56. She is survived by her husband, James; a son, John at home; three daughters, Kathleen at home, Mrs. Diane Martino, Avenel and Mrs. Lynn Loy of Morgan; her mother, Mrs. Amanda Baran of Perth Amboy and two grandchildren; and two brothers, John Gustavsen of Morganville and Sigurd of Perth Amboy.
