- CELIDONIO Alice Bernice (nee Thorsen), of Cliffside Park, NJ, has passed away at the age of 84 on Monday, March 30th, 2015. Alice was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children June Steitz, John Celidonio and his wife Karen, Judy Scalabrin and her husband Ernie; grandchildren Jessica Dodge, Kristen and Shaina Steitz, Ernest John and Rebecca and Crystal Scalabrin and Sara Celidonio; sister Edna Lohmann, brother-in-law Donald Celidonio, sisters-in-law, Rose Celidonio and Eva Biegel, son-in-law Warren Dodge, as well as several nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life John Celidonio, as well daughter Jayne Celidonio Dodge and brother Arthur Thorsen. Born in Bloomfield, NJ, Alice spent her school years in West New York before settling in Cliffside Park for the past 68 years. Alice will be missed by many. Visitation will take place at Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ (201) 945-5032 on Monday, April 6th from 4-8 PM, with a short service at 7 PM. Entombment will be private.
