- EICHLER, Raymond Anthony Dec. 19, 1924 - July 30, 2013, Ray Eichler, 88, of Seminole, passed away on July 30, 2013.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ruth Grigalavich Eichler; and by daughters, Jo Ann (Jay), Karen (Russell); and son, Michael (Leslie); along with eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Ray serv-ed in the Navy during WWII with the 4th Marine Division, 121st Battalion in the South Pacific. Strong and athletic throughout his life, Ray enjoyed a long retirement full of his favorite activities: tennis, golf, fishing and travel. Known for his keen sense of humor and sharp wit, he always had just the right "zinger" comment at just the right time. He will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 11565 66th Ave. N., Seminole, with burial and military ceremony at 12:45 pm at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
