- Jesse L Louison, age 79, of Janesville died Friday June 29, 2018 at Cedar Crest Health Center in Janesville after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on May 25, 1939 in Iola, WI, the son of Jesse and Alice (Rasmussen) Louison. Jesse graduated from Janesville High School in 1957 and served in the Air Force from 1957 to 1963. He worked for General Motors for 40 years and he was very active member with UAW Local 95. He was appointed to the UAW/GM Joint activities program where he worked until his retirement in 2003. Jesse was an avid golfer, enjoyed hunting, and was a die hard Brewers, Packers, and Wisconsin Badgers fan. He loved spending time with family especially Labor Day Weekend at his cabin in Iola, WI. He is survived by his wife Sandra, his sons, Jay (Cheryl) Louison, Lonnie (Jeni Schey) Merchant, his daughters, Cindy (Leon Beebe) Kuter, Pam Clark, Brenda (Bill) Stark. His stepchildren, Lisa (Dave) Licary and Scott (Aame) Pinnow. A brother Jeff Louison. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, the mother of his children Donna (Manthey) Louison, a sister-in-law Darlene Louison and many more extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Alice, brother Duane Louison, and sister Iris Sowatzki. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Whitcomb – Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will be at Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
