  Nekrolog	She was born Henrietta Pauline Ostgarden on Sept. 22, 1909, in McIntosh, Minn. to Herman and Betsy (Tufte) Ostgarden. She grew up in the McIntosh, Fosston and Trail areas. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She married Albert Svedahl on May 29, 1954 in Fosston. After marriage, they lived in Virginia, Aurora, and Gilbert, returning to Fosston in 1969. She became a resident of the Midway Care Center in June of 1997. Survivors include three sons, Wallace Thoreson, and Gordon Thoreson, and Lyle Thoreson; one daughter, Janice Taylor; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel St. Germain, Irene Rud; and one brother, Clarence (Lois) Ostgarden; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert on Sept. 14, 1990; two sons, Lloyd and Clayton; her parents; one sister, Mabel Nelson; and brothers, Alvin and Ernest Ostgarden.
