- ROCKLAND - Phyllis Perry, 74, died at her home here surrounded by her family, Saturday, March 9, 2002 following a long illness. Born in West Enfield, June 27, 1927, she was the daughter of Ira and Margaret Tozier Dudley. She was a graduate of Howland High School, and Boston Dental School. Mrs. Perry's first husband, Richard L. Graham died in September, 1953. She married Morris B. Perry February 4, 1961 in New Brunswick, Canada. The couple moved to this area in 1962.
For over 16 years, Mrs. Perry was employed as a medical technician and later worked as a private duty nurse. She enjoyed camping with her grandchildren. A member of the Good Sam Club, she camped at Sandy Shores for 27 years as well as in various other Maine and New Hampshire camp grounds.
A 3-week old daughter, Sonya Mae Perry, predeceased her.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband of 42 years, Morris Perry of Rockland; two daughters, Cindy Kilgore and her husband Bruce of Rockland, Robin Mahoney and her husband Steve of West Rockport; two sons, Robert Graham and his companion Becky White of Warren, Richard Graham of Rockland; one sister, Ruth Berry of Bangor; five grandchildren, Heather Kilgore, Kaylee Kilgore, Ryan Mahoney and his wife Gretchen, Darren Mahoney, and Shawn Graham.
Interment will be at Achorn Cemetery in the spring. (Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins on-line)
